Hi there! My name is Kuamii Gandy and I'm a graduate from Middle Tennessee State University. I moved to TN from Queens, NY for what was supposed a year, but I stayed to major in aerospace engineering. Unfortunately, all that was offered by the nearest school was aerospace technology.

Not being the career that I had sought out, after getting my associates in the field, I pursued journalism and psychology majors. I managed to complete the fields of study.

For me, journalism was always an interest due to the skills that a person could pick up and display. Pairing the two fields of psychology and journalism I felt helped change a narrow perspective that could be picked up. Journalism circles so many different forms of documentation. That includes photos, videos, writing and much more.

The overall goal is to win a Pulitzer prize by the age of 30. Other than that, i intend to be a journalist/author. I intend to make an impact in the world that would change it for the better. If i can't do that, at least i'd like to have given the tools to the person that can.
